Our Story

Meet Iris Huang

Hi, I’m Iris Huang, the founder and sole creator behind Miss Panda Studio.

Alongside my creative work, I’ve spent years working in early childhood education. It’s a role that takes a lot of energy, patience and emotional presence, but children have always given something back to me in return — fresh ideas, curiosity, and a different way of seeing the world.

Their imagination often inspires me to keep learning, trying new things and creating in new ways.

I’ve always loved making things by hand. For me, creating is not only about the finished piece — it’s also about finding a quiet moment, slowing down, and enjoying the process.

My Story

I first discovered beading when I was 11 years old. Back then, there was no social media and not much inspiration around me — just different colours, shapes and beads, and the simple joy of making something with my own hands.

Years later, in 2020, I found my way back to creating again. I explored many different crafts, but beading was the one that stayed with me.

There was something about choosing each bead, matching colours, and slowly seeing a piece come together that made me feel calm and completely present.

That feeling became the beginning of Miss Panda Studio.

The Story Behind the Name

I’m originally from China, and I’ve always loved pandas.

Over time, I realised that I also connect with what they represent to me — calmness, softness, simplicity, and a close connection with nature.

There is something gentle and timeless about them. Pandas have existed for millions of years, yet they still feel familiar, peaceful and loved today.

That feeling is very close to how I want Miss Panda Studio to feel.

I love creating pieces that are delicate, classic and timeless — something you can wear, keep and enjoy for many years rather than follow a short-lived trend.

As the sole creator behind the brand, I wanted a name that felt personal and reflected both where I come from and the kind of creative world I want to build.

That’s how Miss Panda Studio came to life — a name that feels calm, natural, playful and timeless, just like the things I love to create.

What I Create

Today, I create delicate jewellery and relaxed creative workshops using Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls and Japanese beads.

For me, it’s not only about making something beautiful. It’s about slowing down, enjoying the process, and creating something timeless — something you can keep, wear and enjoy for years.

I want each piece to feel personal, refined and distinctive, with the kind of detail you notice more the longer you look at it.

The Workshop Experience

My workshops are designed to be a small escape from a busy mind.

Each class is built around different beading techniques that I’ve adapted into a relaxed, beginner-friendly experience. You don’t need any previous experience — just a willingness to try something new.

The idea is to slow down, learn something with your hands, enjoy the process, and create a bracelet that feels completely your own.

I hope everyone leaves not only with something beautiful, but also with a sense of achievement and a memory of the time they spent making it.

Made to Last

Every piece at Miss Panda Studio is created with time, patience and intention. Depending on the design, a single bracelet can take anywhere from two to six hours to complete.

I’m drawn to pieces that feel distinctive, refined and timeless — something you can look at and immediately see the care behind it. To me, true elegance comes from the details: the materials, the balance, the craftsmanship, and the patience it takes to bring everything together.

I want each piece to feel special when you wear it — not something ordinary, but something with character, quality and a sense of lasting beauty.

The workshops are created with the same thoughtfulness. I design each class around different beading techniques, while keeping the experience relaxed and beginner-friendly. You can learn something new, slow down, enjoy the process, and create a bracelet that feels completely your own.

Created with patience. Designed with intention. Made to be treasured.
